DEMECO ENTERPRISES was originally established in Sri Lanka almost 15 years ago as a multi-disciplinary business, mainly to cater to the local Industrial sector in the fields of electro – mechanical maintenance & civil construction work.
Around the year 2002 Demeco diversified its activities to concentrate more on the Exporting Business. Within the past few years Demeco has been mainly engaged in the field of Biomass Briquetting & have successfully marketed the products locally as well as internationally.
Demeco has a world wide network of dealers covering the Europe, South East Asia, Africa & North & South America etc. Our vision is to establish a world wide network of cooperation in order to manufacture more durable & user-friendly machinery & equipment that can be also offered to our customers at an affordable price.
It has been decided at the initial stages itself that Demeco must maintain the same or better quality standards adhered to by world famous manufacturers of Briquetting machines, such as Shimada of U.K / Japan & Pini-Kay of Austria. Infact Demeco have had a Joint Venture Agreement with Shimada of U.K. for the Technical Collaboration in manufacturing their extruder in Sri Lanka up to January, 2006.
